Education, Events & Public Programming
Untitled is dedicated to the growth and development of contemporary emerging art in Calgary. We aim to provide opportunities for contemporary art discourse through public workshops and educational programming, much of which correlate to our current schedule of exhibition programming. Over several years Untitled has developed an ongoing schedule of contemporary art workshops in darkroom processes, artist talks and lectures, as well as professional development workshops and lectures designed to support emerging artists eager to learn important skills that help them to further develop their professional careers. Many of these workshops are taught by our resident studio artists or by artists that Untitled has collaborated with or exhibited in recent years, providing an important avenue through which the general public and local artists can come together, learn, build skills, and have fun. Group and School ProgramsUntitled Art Society is dedicated to facilitating meaningful learning and engagement opportunities with contemporary art and ideas for visitors of all ages.
Group and school tours of Main Space exhibitions are available upon request; please pre-book at least two weeks in advance by emailing the UAS Director at info@uascalgary.org. Community ProjectsUAS supports the growth of the Calgary visual arts sector throughout its programming and envisions a community that is strong, collaborative, and sustainable. Through partnerships with arts and non-arts organizations, Untitled aims to build capacity and support for local communities, organizations, and the creative sector as a whole.
