Events at UAS
Artist TalksUAS is very excited to start hosting regular artist talks by our Main Space and +15 exhibiting artists!
All artist talks will be held at UAS Satellite Gallery at 343 11th Ave SW. The next artist talk will be: Sarah Van Sloten, Mainspace exhibiting artist Thursday, June 22 @ 7PM at UAS Satellite Gallery Sarah van Sloten(V.S.)'s work is mostly installation-based, and involves the application of paint on a variety of found surfaces. Her work is primarily focussed on employing visual tricks to alter the way things are typically viewed. Sarah V.S. has worked out of The Bakery studios, Avalanche!, and now currently resides at Pith. She has shown at TRUCK, The Straw Gallery, The Contemporary Art Museum, Haight Gallery, and most recently Avalanche! Art Institute. The UAS Annual Rummage Sale!
Every year UAS hosts a rummage sale that is generously supported through donations by the general public. If you are interested in donating items in preparation for the annual rummage sale please contact info@UAScalgary.org. Please note: we cannot accept clothing, large furniture or major appliances.
Thank you for your support! If you would like to know where and when the next rummage sale will be occurring, please sign up for the newsletter to receive updates from UAS! Interested in holding your own event at Satellite Gallery? UAS will host events for individuals and organizations through our barewalls program. Please be advised that barewalls books up to a year in advance.
