Untitled Art Society offers a wide variety of opportunities for artists. Submissions for exhibitions, workshop proposals, cross-programming, residency funds and studio space can be emailed info@uascalgary.org. Please clearly indicate what you are submitting for in the header line, and if you are sending multiple emails (ie submission for +15 1 of 2)

Studio 9 will be available June 1, 2012
It is an interior rectangular studio, 184 sq ft
258.00 per month plus damage and key deposit.

SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE SATURDAY MAY 22 AT 4PM

The successful applicant will be notified within a few days after the deadline. Email applications only (info@UAScalgary.org), All digital information submitted must be Windows-compatible. Late or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. Early submissions will be held for review at the next available jury. Applications for shared studios are welcomed.

All applications must include the following:

Description of Studio Practice: (200 words max) clearly indicating how much time you will likely spend in the studio, what sort of media/equipment you plan to use, why studio space is important to your practice, if you have any current projects/exhibition deadlines you are trying to meet, and any other details relevant to your studio practice. Include a statement of how you intend to fulfill the volunteer requirement if applying for a subsidized studio ( If you would prefer to pay the full rental rate this is not required). Curriculum Vitae (2 pages max)
Artist's Statement (300 words max)
Support Material Max of 4 portfolio images or up to 5 minutes of video footage, if appropriate. Digital images must be in JPEG format.
